Passing of Pvt Lester Smith

PVT Lester (Les) Smith passed away of a massive heart attack November 2nd 2010.  Lester just got his SCV-MC patch at Myrtle Hill in Rome Georgia on Sunday October the 17th 2010.  He was a dear friend of Dale (Carp) Carpenter.  He was a member of the Rome Nathan Bedford Forest Camp #469.  Funeral arrangements are as follows, Henderson & Sons Funeral Home on Maple St Rome GA,  Friday November 5, 2010 at 12 pm. Family does wish SCV/SCV-MC Honor Guard.  Members of Troop One and Two will be honoring Les at his funeral service.

Trenton Georgia Annual Veterans Day Parade

Dade County’s Veterans Day Parade will be Nov. 6 at 11 am.  The route will be from Moore Funeral Home to American Legion Post 106. Blood Assurance will be on site at the American Legion.  Motorcycles line up at 10am.  Call Johnny Rocket if you are attending.

On the 2nd of Oct…parade starts at 10:30. I don’t think the staging area is very far away, but we can get organized at the Days Inn with flags, riding protocal and etc; so that we can pull out and Look Organized!!!!.
